10B How does your creativity begin?

Being creative is a key to everyone’s life. Some of us may think we are not creative because we know others that are more creative than us. But in reality we all are creative in some way and at some point in our lives and we do not even realize it. Being creative does not mean being creative just in the arts, music, or dance departments. You can be creative in so many different ways that there are way to many to name. Applying creativity to myself, I sure do not think I am creative at all. That is probably one of the things I know I am not good, but still managed to have had some creative moments in my life. 

When I think about creativity, what come to mind are art, music, and dance. To me dance has always been something I loved, but never really got into, but wish I did at a younger age. Dancing is in my blood considering I am Hispanic! ;) When I was lets say middle school, my friends and I would always make up dances in my living room or at their houses because we were just bored middle schoolers that loved to be creative when dancing. One of my friends was a dancer and she was usually the one that led everyone. But we all pitched in ideas and came up with creative moves to add to the dance. Looking back I never really looked at the era of ours as being creative until now. 

When someone asks me to be creative I shut down because I do not think I am creative. The thing is being creative is not being wrong, but just have different ways of thinking about the same thing. Any ideas you have people may say you are wrong, but in reality you are being creative so it does not matter what others think. The way you create things and think differently is not wrong; it is just a different way of thinking. My attitudes towards, money, power, praise, rivals, work, and play can be different then someone else's attitude towards them. I think that money is one key of having power, and that when you have power and money that you have rivals and people that praise you because of your accomplishments. When it comes to work and play, I think work is serious and have to concentrate on it when play is having fun and going out and enjoying yourself when you are not working. My views towards these can be different or the same as other people, but everyone is creative in how they think about these words and how it may impact them differently. Being creative is good and without it we would all be boring human beings!
