The statue in the picture above is the president of SCSU from 1971-1981. His name was Manson Van B. Jennings. I was walking around campus and was trying to find a statue that was interesting. As I walked through Morrill Hall I was walking through the hallway that lead into Jennings when I looked outside and saw a statue. I don't know why this statue is so secluded, but it sad to think it is considering it's a statue of one of the presidents of SCSU. The spot it's located in is close to Jennings considering Jennings was named after him obviously. There was no artist on the statue which I find pretty odd.
